Senior Accounting Specialist | MNC Logistics Group | Selangor

Company Overview

Our client is an established MNC that is a strong player in the Logistics industry. In line with their business expansion, they are looking to bring on board a Senior Accounting Specialist to join their team in KL.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare full sets of financial statements, from accounting entries to reconciliations, schedules, and notes to the accounts.
2. Perform related accounting functions including payment inputs and AR reminders processing, along with other deliverables.
3. Review and be responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of work performed by specialists.
4. Guide and train specialists in attaining process competence.
5. Support the Team Lead and Operations Manager to implement new processes and projects.

Requirements:

1. Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or a professional qualification i.e. ACCA/CPA/MICPA.
2. Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
3. Strong knowledge in Accounting Standards, Bookkeeping, and Reporting with an eye for detail.
4. Business-level English with strong communication skills; literacy in Mandarin is required, and Cantonese will be an added advantage.
5. Able to provide guidance, support, and motivation to a team of 3 to 5 specialists.
6. Excellent time management and planning skills to meet deadlines.
7. Motivation to achieve the objectives of the company and the team.
8. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills are essential; advanced skills are desirable.
9. Familiarity with accounting software such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV, NetSuite, etc., is an advantage.
