Senior Accounting Executive

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Accounting Executive to join our shared services team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in accounting, exceptional analytical skills, and a demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior staff. This role is critical to ensuring the financial integrity and strategic financial management of the entities we support within our group.

Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements,
ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with relevant regulations and
standards.
• General Ledger Management: Lead the maintenance and reconciliation of general
ledger accounts, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and
classified.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Supervise the accounts payable and receivable
processes, ensuring efficient and timely operations.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts,
providing strategic insights and analysis to support decision-making.
• Audit Coordination: Manage internal and external audits, ensuring timely and
accurate information is provided and implementing recommendations.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to enhance
accounting processes and systems, driving efficiency and best practices.
• Compliance & Regulation: Ensure the company remains compliant with changes in
accounting regulations and standards.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff, fostering
their professional development.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments and entities within the group
to support various financial initiatives and projects.

Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. ACCA, CPA
or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
• Experience: Preferably a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience,
with at least 1 year in a supervisory or senior role, Experience in a shared services
or corporate environment is an added advantage.
• Technical Skills: Proficienct in accounting software and Microsoft Offic, particularly
Excel. Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen
attention to detail.
• Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the
ability to convey complex financial information clearly and effectively.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a
collaborative team.
