SENIOR ACCOUNTANT (Kelana Jaya)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the full spectrum of finance including timely preparation of financial and management reports as well as analysis of results
• Prepare Company financial statements and monthly management report with compliance to accounting standards & company policies.
• Handle accounts payable & receivables, credit control, creditor's payments & receivables receipts processing.
• Preparation of company budgets and forecasts.
• Plan and control the company's cash flow, funding, and budget allocation
• Control and manage end-to-end financial processes, including collections, payments, monthly close activities, and balance sheet reconciliation
• Monitoring and preparing of company's performance (P&L, Balance sheet and cash flow) vs. projections.
• Improve cost accounting and internal control systems.
• Ensure all accounting systems, practices, controls, and procedures are fully compliant with Financial Reporting Standards, and applicable reporting standards
• Perform business planning and yearly budget
• Establish effective internal control procedures to improve accounting and reporting systems
• Liaise with internal and external auditors, tax agents, legal, bankers, etc.
• Experience in IFCA will be an advantage.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years' working experience in a similar capacity, preferably in property development industry.
• Able to understand management concepts, motivate and lead staff.
• Working knowledge of IFCA Software System for Property Development will be an advantage.
