As a Senior Accountant at Aethir, you will have the responsibility of supervising and directing the day-to-day accounting activities of the company. The main tasks include managing accounts payable and receivable, overseeing the closure of month-end and year-end procedures, guaranteeing compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and maintaining precise financial records. Possessing a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) certification is highly beneficial as it showcases proficiency in financial analysis and investment management.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage and supervise the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
Month-End Reporting: Oversee the month-end close process, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and generating financial reports.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations. Prepare for and assist with audits as needed.
Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
General Accounting: Maintain the general ledger, oversee the preparation of financial documents, and ensure all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounting department.
Financial Analysis: Utilize financial analysis skills, potentially enhanced by CFA certification, to evaluate financial performance, conduct financial forecasting, and support strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
