Senior Account Manager

JOB BRIEF:

Manage and control all accounting related activities in accordance with lawful standards and able to meet Company's achievement. Recommend to superior any enhancement to improve and deliver better quality in accounting reporting or related activities.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

1. Oversee the preparation of full set account
2. Plan and manage working capital fund in line with short term and long term operational needs
3. Manage day to day accounting operation matters for companies group
4. Perform monthly account closing and ensure financial records are maintained in compliance
5. Ensure annual audit reports are done and filed in a timely manner
6. Prepare monthly management report, account receivable, account payable, and other related reports
7. Support annual audit and tax computation
8. Ensure full compliance with accounting standards and practices according to company act and other statutory requirements
9. Oversee the implementation and maintenance of accounting and financial management
10. Perform any other ad-hoc assignments as required
11. Manage proper filing and documentation, ensuring all accounting records are updated at all times and databases are filed accordingly

JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

1. Candidate should possess ACCA or equivalent in Finance/Accountancy/Banking
2. At least 5 years' experience in cost accounting
3. Hands-on SAP or any ERP and SQL system is a great advantage
4. Strong costing knowledge and experience
5. Ability to collaborate with other departments
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel tools and functions
7. Ability to extract large databases
8. Good communication skills in English, Malay, and Mandarin for both spoken and written
