Senior Account Executives

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Account Executive to join our dynamic team at SMC Food21 (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. in Gelang Patah, Johor. As a Senior Account Executive, you will play a vital role in the financial management and accounting operations of our organisation. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to grow your skills and expertise within a supportive and collaborative environment.

What you'll be doing

• Full set of accounts.
• Prepare, review and analyze accounts, ensuring all transactions are appropriately captured each month in accordance with accounting standards, finance policies, and government regulations.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing.
• Conduct day-to-day accounting & costing functions.
• Generate monthly/yearly schedules and reports.
• Liaise with bankers, company secretary, auditors, etc.
• Assist in audit and tax preparation.
• Prepare payment vouchers, cash vouchers, and journal vouchers with supporting documents, maintaining proper financial transaction records.
• Any other relevant duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in related fields is required.
• Experience with Autocount accounting system is preferred.

**Must be willing to work in Johor Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas (PTP).**
