Senior Account Executive / Senior Account and Business Admin Executive
Senior Finance and Business Administration Executive
Job Descriptions:
Salary Range: RM5,000.00 - RM 6,000.00
The Role:
As Senior Finance and Business Administration Executive, you will report closely with the Director, where you will be in charge of Group’s finance and business operation administration duties.
Finance and Account
Responsible for the full spectrum of Finance & Account and Business Operation Administration activities.
Manage full-set accounts, including month-end and year-end closing.
Leading the Account and business operation admin team to perform day-to-day accounting operations and daily retails outlet operation administration support activities.
Supervising and training accounting & operation administration staff, ensuring accounting & business admin operations are carried out in a timely, accurate, and complete manner.
Initiate continuous improvement e.g. accuracy and efficiency, internal control, cost control/saving, tax saving, accounting process and procedures, management and financial analysis report, workflow, documentation of accounting record, filing etc.
Ensure timely recording of fixed assets & inventory movements.
Prepare and analyze cost reports for ongoing projects to manage cost control.
Analyze and monitor project budget and track expenses.
Facilitate the analysis of the financial report for management, to ensure accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and data integrity of all financial data.
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretary, and other professionals to ensure compliance on all matters relating to audit, tax, and statutory requirements.
Process claims to ensure compliance as per Company policies.
The preparation of financial statements and reports, the planning of budgeting and forecasting activities, and the subsequent reporting to upper management.
Making recommendations on new accounting standards in Malaysia.
Assume full ownership of ad hoc projects, reports, and analyses as required.
Business Operation Administration
Monitor and support data entry and operation administrative tasks.
Monitor and provide day-to-day support for administrative functions in documentation, printing, data entry, filing paperwork, and typing up formal documents, etc.
Manage and monitor office and retail shop leases, vendor contracts, and relationships with service providers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
Manage and monitor retail shop-related licensing matters.
Petrol card application for managerial staff under Company’s Account and monthly billing printout.
Oversee and supervise the renewal of the company and director's vehicle road tax and insurance.
Assist in POS backend configuration.
Other relevant tasks assigned to the business operation administration department.
Job Requirements:
Minimum diploma/degree or equivalent in financial accounting.
Minimum 5 years of experience in full sets accounting in the retail industry, preferably in the F & B sector.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Auto-count software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data accurately.
Knowledge of accounting principles and cost control practices in project costing.
Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin (Mandarin will be an added advantage in order to liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates).
