Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic leader to join our team as a Senior Account Executive in the Accounting Department. The ideal candidate will take a leadership role in managing financial operations, mentoring junior accountants, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires expertise in financial reporting, account management, and tax regulations, along with the ability to guide and develop the accounting team.

Job Descriptions:

  1. Able to handle full set of accounts (account payable and account receivable) and all financial reporting activities.
  2. To monitor full sets accounting for all branches from bookkeeping accounting entries to fully sets accountings including Trial Balance, Income Statements, Balance Sheets, GL, Inventory Control, Reconciliations, and monthly reporting and checking.
  3. Debtor and creditor management including reviewing aging and reconciliation record.
  4. Prepare detailed journal entries and account analysis.
  5. To assist in account transactions, account checking, verification & follow up.
  6. Prepare timely monthly bank reconciliations.
  7. To ensure accurate, complete, and up-to-date monthly accounts, cash flow statement, staff claims and various reports.
  8. To assist in collating, analyzing, summarizing and preparing accounts information and trends for finance reports, audit & tax purposes.
  9. To prepare a monthly Budget report breakdown for presentation to management review meeting.
  10. To liaise with external parties such as company secretary, auditor, banker, tax agent and so on.
  11. Lead, mentor, and develop junior accounting staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
  12. Delegate tasks efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
  13. To perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Work Requirements:

  1. Candidate must possess at least SPM/ STPM or equivalent.
  2. At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  3. Mandarin Speaker is an advantage.
  4. Ability to work independently and as a team.
  5. Strong leadership and team management skills.
  6. Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced business environment.
  7. Good analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
  8. Good understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting skills as well as attention to detail.
  9. Experienced in accounting software is added advantage (especially in Autocount and ERP system).
  10. Good in computer applications (Microsoft Words, Excel).
  11. Applicants must be willing to work at Taman Perindustrian Putra, Puchong (Nearby Taman Mas).
