Senior Account Executive

Job Summary:
The Senior Account Executive is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with regulatory standards. This role involves analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing strategic financial advice to support decision-making. The Senior Account Executive will work closely with department heads to manage budgets, forecast revenue, and optimize financial performance. Additionally, the role requires leadership in guiding junior finance staff and ensuring the smooth execution of financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, and tax compliance.
2. Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
3. Develop and manage annual budgets, including monitoring expenditures and forecasting financial performance.
4. Conduct financial analysis to provide insights on company performance, cost management, and profitability.
5. Ensure timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting.
6. Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
7. Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and other financial institutions to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
8. Provide strategic financial recommendations to senior management to support business decisions and growth strategies.
9. Mentor and manage junior finance staff, fostering professional development and ensuring accuracy in financial operations.
10. Assist in financial planning and analysis, including the development of long-term financial strategies.

Requirements:

1. Certificate/Diploma in Finance/Accounting, Business Studies, Administration or related field.
2. At least 5 years working experience in a related field.
3. An added advantage with Mandarin capabilities (written & spoken).
4. Possess a strong work ethic, initiative, and commitment.
5. Self-independent with good analytical skills.
