Senior Account Assistant

Job Responsibility

• Performing basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, etc.
• Processing transactions, issuing cheques, preparing TT Transfer, and updating ledgers and budgets.
• Calculating and checking to ensure payments, amounts, and records are correct.
• Verifying and reconciling accounts receivable records and balances.
• Working with journals, sales & purchase ledgers, and spreadsheets.
• Summarizing current financial status by collecting information and other reports.
• Providing financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports.
• Maintaining accounting records and complying with accounting standards.
• Maintaining accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
• Maintaining bank records and preparing bank reconciliation.
• Updating data entries into the system and keeping track of documents.
• Ad hoc tasks as and when required.

Job Requirements

• Primary Language: English, Mandarin (Required to liaise with mostly Mandarin-speaking clients and suppliers).
• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/Degree in accountancy.
• At least 1-2 years of working experience with accounting knowledge.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Able to work under pressure with minimum supervision, with a high level of accuracy, and meet tight deadlines.
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office applications and computerized SQL accounting system).
• Has a pleasant personality, is self-motivated, and able to multitask independently under challenging environments.
• Proactive with a high sense of responsibility.
• Working location: Desa Tun Razak.
