Join the dynamic team at Shang Agro Trading Sdn Bhd as a Senior Account. This full-time position is based in Kuching, Sarawak, where you will play a crucial role in the company's accounting and financial operations.

What you'll be doing

1. Oversee all accounting functions, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, and tax filing
2. Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping, as well as the preparation of financial statements
3. Provide strategic financial advice to management to support business decision-making
4. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and regulatory authorities
5. Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff to foster a high-performing team

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior accounting role.
2. Strong technical accounting skills with a solid understanding of bookkeeping, taxation, and financial reporting
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
4. Proven track record of providing strategic financial insights and decision support to management
5. Proficiency in using accounting software and technologies to streamline operations
6. Ability to lead and motivate a team of accounting professionals
7. A recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g., LCCI, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA)
