Senior 2D Game Artist

• Create and develop graphic assets for games, including characters, environments, items, UI elements and animation concepts.
• Collaborate with multiple teams of different talents and principles to design and implement the graphics and illustrations for game content.
• Utilise AI tools and algorithms to generate ideas and manipulate images, animations, and visual effects for various different needs of the projects.
• Stay updated on the latest efficient techniques and incorporate them into artistic development processes and workflows.
• Experiment with art tools to explore new possibilities and push the boundaries of artistic expression and quality.
• Optimise graphic content for performance and quality prepared for running on different devices and platforms.
• Work closely with other team members on receiving and providing feedback and insights on the game development’s artistic applications.
• Prepare artwork that has the matching and consistent style, to ensure cohesive visual design is applied to the entire game.

Job Qualification:

• Strong artistic skills and creativity, having 3-5 years of experience with game art production pipelines and workflows.
• Good proficiency in software like Photoshop and other Art Production relevant software like Blender 3D, Zbrush is a plus.
• Familiar in using AI tools like Mid-journey and other well-known AI tools is a plus.
• Diploma or Degree in Digital Illustration or Graphic related education background, even self-taught is welcome.
• Self-motivated, able to work well under minimal supervision and guidance.
• Willing to learn new techniques and new software for the needs of the projects.
• Good communication skill in both written and spoken form.
• Good teamwork and able to work and mingle well with other team members.
• Good problem-solving abilities and able to identify and learn new techniques or methods to solve incoming issues.
• Good time management and understanding task priority.
• Good personal hygiene, image, and well-being as a professional.
• Good work ethics and attitude towards work expectation, requirements, feedback, and suggestions.
• Good responsibility for producing deliverable assets and meeting job requirements to ensure timely completion.
