Responsibilities:
Assess and implement Security system programs and make recommendations to Site Security management relating to security effectiveness, efficiency, and continuous improvements.
Establish and implement a documented Security System SOP following company policies, rules, and regulations.
Monitor Security System equipment to identify issues and security potential threats.
Maintain equipment, maintenance and incidents record.
Lead, train, and supervise a team of security system technicians.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
Maintain strong relationships with external partners, such as law enforcement agencies and security vendors, to enhance security system capabilities.
Educate employees and team members on security system awareness, policies, and procedures through training programs and communication initiatives.
Ensure legislative compliance with local legal authority regulations and requirements.
Assist Operation and Loss Prevention in overseeing overall security requirements to adhere to security policies in the organization by supporting functional Bi-Annually/Annually Company Security Risk Assessments, analyzing Security Data Trends, providing recommendations to close the gaps, and implementing loss prevention programs in place.
Minimum Requirements:
Degree / Diploma / Certificate in Information Technologies/Computer Science, or related course in security system technology.
5 years above working experience in MNC and experience in local laws, physical security operations, System Security, and Project management and compliance will be strongly recommended.
5 years above for knowledge of Security System Projects such as CCTV, Access Card Reader, Alarm Systems & Badging Systems to assist in investigations effectively.
Experience dealing and working with multinational employees from different regions and countries.
Local Law Enforcement experience, knowledge of local law/ Panel Code and security standards will be strongly recommended.
Good in People and Project Management Task Cycles.
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office XP (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Project & Auto CAD.
Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English Languages (Spoken & Written).
Effective communication with subordinates, management groups, key stakeholders/departments, Security Management and Government Authorities.
Strong leadership with the ability to lead a security system team and/or drive training to Security Supervisors and Officers. Solid ability to build comprehensive security program plans.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate security risks.
Proven track record of successfully managing security-related projects, including the implementation of new security technologies, policies, and procedures.
