Security Supervisor (Setia City Mall)

The Security Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the safety of everyone at the mall.

Your Duties Include But Are Not Limited To:

• Monitor and ensure compliance with BOMBA, Police, Local Authority regulations and Safety & Security requirements.
• Identify potential security threats and propose remedial actions/measure to the Centre Management.
• Work with the Fire Command Centre (FCC) on daily operations including security and respond to any emergency situation with proper recording.
• Supervise and train outsourced security personnel to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and excellent service performance at all times.
• Ensure a safe and secure shopping environment for all patrons of the Centre with outstanding customer service.
• Responsible as part of the emergency response team during crisis management.

Requirements:

• Possess at least SPM with 2 to 3 years of experience in the Security team of a Shopping Centre or other security force.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
• Computer literate.
• Knowledge of local laws and regulations on safety and security.
• Knowledge of the Private Security Act 1971-KDN and able to handle outsourced security operations for the asset.
• Good interpersonal skills and able to build good working relationships at all levels.
• Able to work in shifts (based on their roster) including on weekends and Public Holidays. May be required to work overtime based on schedule or emergency situation.
