Security Officer

Minimum Requirements

• Candidate must possess a diploma in relevant field with minimum 3 years’ working experience.
• Candidate must have technical, interpersonal, and physical skills to perform their duties effectively.
• Able to work independently under minimum supervision.

Job Description

• Responsible security team to check on staff, visitor, contractor & vehicle entering the premises has required approval and provided with access pass after verification.
• Responsible security team verify that no unsafe/prohibited materials are brought into the premises (Security Search).
• Monitor security team check vehicles leaving the premises and carrying materials have a valid Materials Exit Pass (MEP) and verify the items carried. Ensure no asset/product is taken out without an authorized Material Exit Pass.
• Monitor visitors, contractors, drivers or any individual entering the premises & intended to go to PPE zone area, are fully on required PPEs prior of entry to the premises.
• Responsible to check the serial number of each seal on the tanker is correct and that the tanker’s discharge vault and manhole are securely sealed.
• Report & record all security activities, infringements & incidents, pass issuance accordingly.
• Check and record that the amount and type of products, the driver, his IC number, vehicle number and the date of delivery are correct in the weighbridge ticket.
• Provide traffic control to vehicle in-out of the premises.
• Conduct patrols around the premises, clocking points, office building & external perimeter boundaries, at frequencies as determined.
• Responsible to check for unauthorized entry, tampering or damages to the perimeter fencing, security, safety or traffic infringements, faulty perimeter lightings etc. and record/report accordingly.
• Security team to follow trailer, tanker to the unloading or loading bay – Banksman.
• Support in receiving & dispatch of raw material products.
• Managing operates weighbridge (WB) system.
• Provide with proper and regular trainings and briefings on Security on-site e.g. Security threats, risks and Incident Response to the security team.
