Security Officer

• Welcome and assist the guests, as the host of the company.
• Ensure employees, visitors and contractors comply with all Company’s Rules and Regulations.
• Supervise the works of outsourced security personnel.
• Make regular rounds of assigned areas.
  • Observe any abnormal activities on the part of employees or guests.
  • Be alert for non-guests or suspicious persons wandering around the company and report to the Head of Security.
  • Investigate any offenses reported whilst on patrol and ensure full details are made available to the superior/police when necessary.
• Ensure CCTV and access doors are in good condition and take immediate action if found malfunctioning.
  • Seize and deal with items found during patrol.
  • Maintain a close watch for any fire or safety hazards.
  • Provide security where required, e.g., during scrap collection.
  • Always keep the security posts neat and tidy.
  • Report when the loading/unloading bays and surrounding areas need to be cleaned or tidied to the housekeeping department.
  • Assist in the company's evacuation during a fire alarm emergency.
  • Perform any other duties requested by immediate superior.

Requirements:

• Attention to detail and physically fit.
• Possess Diploma / STPM/SPM and 5 years working experience in the security field.
• Knowledge and experience in conducting investigations.
• Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays, including extended hours.
• Good command of both spoken and written English.
• Ex-army and ex-police personnel are encouraged to apply.
