About the role

As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of our estate facilities and personnel located one hour from Bandar Ceneh Baharu, Kemaman Terengganu. This full-time position will see you responsible for proactively patrolling, monitoring, and responding to security-related incidents to ensure the protection of our assets and people.

What you'll be doing

• Responsible for all the day-to-day security of the estate and safeguarding the assets.
• Implementation and execution of security SOP, standing instruction, and policies.
• Manage the watchman and monitor their performance and compliance with SOP.
• Ensure adequate manpower for shift and daily review of security personnel attendance, discipline, and competency.
• Perform estate monitoring patrol to ensure security and safety.
• Attend to all incidents and accidents and their near misses.
• Immediate response to all security matters.
• Immediately report any security breaches, accidents, or unusual occurrences to management or the relevant authorities.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations while enforcing rules in the workplace.
• Keep accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related events.
• Other duties that may be assigned by the superiors.

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a security or law enforcement role.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees and visitors.
• Excellent observational and problem-solving abilities to quickly identify and respond to security threats.
• Physical fitness and stamina to perform regular patrols and handle security incidents.
• A valid security guard license or the ability to obtain one.
• Familiarity with security systems, including CCTV and access control.
