Managing the affairs of the Security Department towards the promotion of professionalism and sustaining a consistently high standard of proficiency in discharging its responsibilities.
Lead security teams and manage overall spectrum of security risks associated with the few site assigned.
Identify and protect company assets through the development and implementation of security protocols.
Make sure that staff follow security procedures and guidelines through training programs and assessments.
Ensure the safety of staff/workers within the workplace.
Perform security process evaluations and inspections.
Initiate and perform security investigations throughout company buildings, and accurately report findings to management.
Prepare the organization and staff for external inspections.
Manage the budget for security operations within an organization and control security department spending.
Hire and train security staff.
Able to work night and weekend shifts as necessary.
Proven ability to communicate effectively in speech and writing with members of management, law enforcement, customers, employees, and government agencies as required.
Attending to day-to-day routine administrative duties and others as may be required from time to time.
Job Requirement
Candidate should possess a Diploma / Advanced Diploma, Bachelor Degree, Master's Degree or equivalent in any field.
Preferably at least 5 years of related working experience.
Ex-armed forces or police personnel preferred.
Good leadership and interpersonal skills with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills in English and Malay, both spoken and written.
