Security Manager

The incumbent will overall in-charge and responsible for all security matters.

Scopes of responsibilities

1. Develop and implement extensive security plans, policies and procedures to protect personnel, assets and information.
2. Lead, train and supervise a team of security personnel, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
3. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
4. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures.
5. Manage access control systems, surveillance equipment and other security technologies to ensure proper functioning and effectiveness.
6. Collaborate with internal departments, such as human resources and IT, to ensure compliance with security protocols and standards.
7. Investigate security breaches, incidents and violations, document findings and implement corrective actions.
8. Maintain strong relationships with external partners, such as law enforcement agencies and security vendors, to enhance security capabilities.
9. Educate employees on security awareness, policies and procedures through training programs and communication initiatives.
10. Stay informed about the latest security technologies, trends and regulatory requirements and make recommendations for enhancements to the security program.
11. Communicate Venture’s Mission and Goals and administer Venture’s policies that directly affect subordinate employees.
12. Ensure legislative compliance to DOSH, DOE, BOMBA and other local legal authority regulations and requirements.

Expected requirements

1. Degree / Diploma in any field but with experience working in a Security related environment would be an added advantage.
2. Minimum of 10 years relevant working experience or equivalent combination of education, training and work experience.
3. Previous experience in dealing with Service Providers to comply with RBA requirements.
4. Possess strong leadership and analytical capabilities.
5. A team player and able to interact effectively with all levels within the company.
