Role

The Day-To-Day Activities

The role’s primary function is to develop key strategies and initiatives with a focus to drive growth. The role is expected to lead end-to-end strategy efforts independently or with cross-functional leads depending on the scope and complexity of the effort. The strategy efforts can range from developing strategies to address current business challenges to developing strategies to enter new markets, addressing emerging technologies, develop go-to-market plans for new solutions, and supporting strategic investment assessments.

In close alignment with the management team, the role is instrumental in defining, planning and executing strategic priorities that will set the future growth path for the company.

Job Responsibilities

1. Lead strategic initiatives on corporate strategy planning, formulation and development covering analysis, insights development, competitive analysis, multi-year planning, business development, strategic partnerships and mergers and acquisitions.
2. Develop rigorous, fact-based, quantitative analysis to support strategy recommendations. Ensure strategic and financial soundness and alignment for any recommendations.
3. Take ownership for significant portions of strategy development and generate creative, action-oriented insights and recommendations.
4. Take a lead role and work with cross-functional heads to execute strategic projects and ensure successful outcomes.
5. Facilitate joint problem-solving with mid-level and senior-level business partners.
6. Author and deliver high-impact presentations and plans to senior management.

About You
Bachelor or Master degree preferably in Business, Finance, Economics.
Min. 8 years relevant experience in leading strategy projects at management consulting firms or in a corporate strategy group.
Pro-active and effective communicator, experienced in presenting information to all levels and with ability to facilitate group discussions and debate.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and proven experience of project management.
Proven ability to influence the organization in order to make strategy happen.
Excellent presentation and verbal and written communication skills.
