Position Title

Section Head, Revenue Management Partnership & Operation

Reports To

Head, Airlines Revenue Management

Position Summary

The Head of Partnership and Operation is dedicated to managing and developing Malaysia Airlines long term partnership strategies, fare filing and disruption operations.

Key Accountabilities

  1. To lead, direct, motivate and develop the partnerships, fare filing and operations team to effectively and efficiently deliver allocated targets, goals and objectives on time.
  2. Develop and strengthen long-term, strategic partnerships with new and existing airline partners.
  3. Communicate effectively with a cross-functional set of internal stakeholders (Sales, Strategy, Finance) to pursue innovative opportunity development and resolve day-to-day issues.
  4. Lead the Partnership team in establishing and managing effective airline partnerships that add value to MAG's network through incremental feed traffic and/or profitable extension of network reach.
  5. Cross functionally lead and ensure successful launch of all partner agreements and joint airline business plans and projects.
  6. In-charge of the day-to-day management of Head Office fares distribution team and outsourcing partner to ensure delivery of agreed service level agreement.
  7. Lead the Fare Filing Team to ensure all MAG projects and activities requiring fare filing activity are accurately and timely executed.
  8. Lead the RMD Operations Team (SHIFT Team) to manage disruptions and to work closely with Operations Team at OCC (Operation Control Centre) to ensure minimal impact to passengers.
  9. Manage the team working under shift 24hrs rotation to support the operations. Monitor daily work and ensure all tasks perform as per SOP.
  10. Primary Departmental Representative for Emergency Operational Crisis Management Team.

  3. Understanding complex systems routines and outputs techniques and applying same in daily operations.
