Job Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the subordinate day-to-day accounting, treasury, banking, and other related activities.
- Monitor credit control, risk management measures, and related SOPs of the company.
- Work closely with the business operations unit, each section head, and group management on financial and accounting matters.
- Review and approve day-to-day or weekly payments.
- Responsible for monthly management reports, cash flow, budgeting, capital expenditure control, and accounting matters.
- Prepare monthly variance analysis on management reports.
- Prepare quarterly tax computation, both group level and statutory level, and submission of withholding tax.
- Review accounts receivable aging and work with sales personnel to follow up on long overdue receivables.
- Prepare, monitor, control, and keep costing analysis up to date to operate in the most efficient manner.
- Review and assess the credit limit and payment terms applied by the sales team.
- Review and approve the financial and accounting matters on vendor applications applied by the purchasing team.
- Manage treasury matters, particularly cash flow management.
- Monitor funding requirements and provide an accurate forecast.
- Liaise with internal auditors to ensure that all finance and accounting matters are in accordance with company procedures and policies.
- Manage directors and members resolution, minutes of meetings, and other secretarial documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3 years or more of progressive experience in accounting/finance roles.
- Experience in leadership or supervisory capacity.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial systems.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and team management skills.
