DXN is principally involved in the sales of health-oriented and wellness consumer products through a direct selling model. It operates a vertically integrated production facilities, right from research and development to cultivation, manufacturing, and distribution. DXN's other business activities that primarily serve to support their core business include conducting laboratory testing services for third parties, offering of lifestyle products, and operating cafe.

Under its massive expansion program, we are now seeking a diligent and experienced Section Head- Environmental Department to be based at Johor Bahru with an opportunity to develop a professional future career growth in the Group.

Responsibilities

• Leads in preparation, deployment, testing/stack sampling, breakdown, and demobilization of projects and source testing equipment.
• Provides field instructions and independently manages field projects from start to completion.
• Effectively assembles, operates, and troubleshoots source testing equipment.
• Ensures project preparation is complete before going into the field; this includes glassware preparation, cleaning procedures, repair, calibration, and fabrication.
• Provides field supervision including emergency responses and practices safety methods and procedures as well as reports all potential dangers, hazards, or unsafe work practices.
• Provides feedback to management regarding any customer needs or concerns.
• Completes and submits all paperwork, forms, and timesheets in a timely manner.
• Ensures the company policies, standards, and procedures are adhered to.
• Assists with laboratory functions, equipment maintenance, and service vehicle maintenance.
• Specifies and/or approves methodologies to be used. Implements good laboratory practices by providing instruction and training as needed. Develops work plans and procedures and requires that these be followed in all day-to-day operations. Irrespective of other responsibilities and resources needed, including implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the management system and followed at all times and in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025. Accountable for the execution of the quality control procedures such as customer complaints, corrective actions, and nonconforming items.
• Coordinates internal audits of the laboratory with Laboratory Quality Management System. When necessary, identifies, develops, adopts, and implements improvement of the laboratory measurement capability to meet the requirement of the latest ISO 17025. Assigns only competent personnel to carry out complete tests. Maintains, analyzes, and updates statistical data and/or control charts. Participates in available and relevant proficiency tests, round robins, and/or inter/laboratory collaborative studies. Attests, by signature, to the validity of all laboratory tests and reports. Ensures continued accreditation of the laboratory. Maintains the Laboratory Quality Manual. Ensures the training and competence of their subordinates. Ensures the compliance of the management system to the SAMM Accredited requirements.
  
  

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science or any related field. Registered Chemist with Institute Kimia Malaysia (IKM).
• Minimum 5 years of working experience with similar roles and responsibilities in an analytical testing laboratory, preferably in the chemical department.
