About the Team
The Search Operations team aims to improve search user experience, contribute significant DAU impact to the products, and drive for an increase in traffic and GMV. Search recommendation is the shortcut to link queries to users through personalized recommendation strategy and algorithm.

Responsibilities

1. Working in the Quality Assurance team to ensure key data delivery targets (e.g., productivity, efficiency, quality, latency) are met for projects under Search Recommendation.
2. Responsible for policy/guideline and SOP implementation and clarification to ensure better understanding and performance of moderation.
3. Work closely with POC and other stakeholders to provide feedback on data quality/SOP/policy/guideline and ensure the overall success of the project.
4. Support training and go-live processes within the Search Recommendation team.
5. Perform other project-related duties as assigned.
6. Willing to work on shifts, which include weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience.
2. Strong understanding of QA in content moderation projects.
3. Excellent verbal and written skills in Bengali since the role will oversee the Bangladesh market.
4. Proficient in English.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Good knowledge of search engines and familiarity with social media platforms.
2. Candidates with knowledge of search trending related businesses are preferred.
3. Good communication skills and experience in cross-team collaboration.
4. Knowledge and familiarity with RCA methodology are preferred.
5. Willing to work on sensitive issues that include child exploitation, a variety of religious and political views, violence, and adult & sexual content.
6. An in-depth understanding of the market's culture and familiarity with the Internet usage habits of market's users.
7. Familiar with common office software. Labeling experience is preferred.
8. Your ability to work in a high tempo environment, adapt, and respond to day-to-day challenges of the role.
9. Your resilience and commitment to self-care to manage the emotional demands of the role.
