You will have a chance to be part of the Zurich Edge Platform that is an end-to-end Digital Native Insurance Platform to enable new distribution models. Insurance offerings on this platform will be specifically designed for straight through processing across the full insurance value chain. As the Scrum Master, your responsibility is to drive the delivery of projects related to the APAC Digital Retail Platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement agile methodology, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions.
Determining, monitoring and managing tasks, issues, risks, and action items.
Scheduling and facilitating Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective, other meetings, and decision-making processes.
Monitoring progress and performance and helping teams to make improvements.
Planning of business workshops, organizing demos and product/system testing.
Manage dependencies between vendor deliverables and scrum team delivery plans.
Coach the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicate effectively, both internally and externally working within the Scrum team.
Ensure the proper use of collaborative processes and removing impediments for the scrum team.
Tracking project processes, deliverables, and financials.
Preparing and presenting of regular status reports to stakeholders.
Work with Scrum Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organizational project or product teams.
Work with IT Vendors, partners and internal delivery teams in ensuring pragmatic delivery.
Required Skills and Experience:
Prior experience as a scrum master delivering IT projects.
Experience as a project manager.
Experience in financial services / insurance highly regarded.
Prior experience in web technologies and APIs highly regarded.
Courses and certifications in Project Management and/or scrum methodology.
Strong knowledge of using JIRA for managing projects.
