About Role
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Software Engineer to join our Delivery Team. As a key contributor, you will develop and maintain high-quality software solutions that meet our business needs and elevate user experiences.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements, design systems, and implement scalable and efficient code. Your expertise will help drive innovation and maintain our competitive edge in the market.
Our APAC GBS supports a hybrid working approach. You will be supporting markets in multiple time zones and some flexibility around working hours will be needed.
Job Description
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software applications and systems.
Collaborate closely with other members of the cross functional team to define system requirements and design solutions.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with the team.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them to improve existing systems and workflows.
Work closely with QA teams to ensure applications are of the highest quality.
Assist in the estimation of tasks, identify potential roadblocks, and propose solutions.
About You
To be successful you will have:
Hands-on experience with SAP BTP cloud services platform, with a good understanding of their respective architectures.
Previous working experience with Cloud Integration, Integration Advisor, and the Trading Partner Management System role is desired.
Prior involvement in B2B/EDI configuration utilizing the SAP Integration Suite.
Proficiency in data interchange formats like XML, JSON, and CSV is essential as well as EDI standards such as UN/EDIFACT, X12, and IDOC.
Familiarity with diverse communication protocols, including SFTP, AS2, and SMTP.
Expertise in handling various integration adapters such as IDOC, RFC, Process Direct, HTTP, JDBC, JMS.
Hands-on experience with integration-specific programming languages, such as JavaScript or Groovy Script, as well as proficiency in XSLT is expected.
Previous working experience with REST and OData APIs as well as SOAP WebServices.
Hands-on experience with different integration architecture principles and patterns, e.g., Process Integration, Data Integration, Event-Driven Integration.
Solid understanding of microservices architecture, Event Processing systems, and API Gateway configurations in a cloud environment.
