The SAP CoE TM AAC Team Lead will work as part of the Global SAP Centre of Excellence on S/4 Roadmap projects
Responsibilities
You will be required to have knowledge in both technical and resource management in the SAP Transportation Management module and its integration with other modules such as eWM, GTS, SD and MM
You will lead and provide mentorship to a team of consultants implementing business solutions based on user requirement analysis
Involvement in the preparation, conception, realization and Go Live of S/4 Hana deployment projects within PPG affiliated companies
Ensuring the availability of detailed Fit-Gap Analysis, Functional Specifications and Configuration Cookbooks to meet business and PPG’s Global Template Requirements
Ensuring the Unit Test (UT)/System Integration Test (SIT) scripts preparation and execution are done according to agreed timeline and standard
Involvement and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Ensuring the development and supporting knowledge transfer documentations and processes
Propose, program, configure, document and test business solutions according to the functional and technical requirements following SAP standard and our foundational S/4 template as closely as possible
You will liaise remotely with a few of your colleagues across the globe but will be based alongside other SAP Consultants
Motivate and coach the team to achieve higher performance
Due to your important role in our S/4 Roadmap projects we expect travel to be approximately 25% - 50% of your time
Within a matrix organization you will report to the SAP TM Stream Lead of the S/4 project stream in which you will be a part of, and to Global SAP CoE D2R Stream
Qualifications
You’ll need to have:
Excellent English oral and written communication skills, including technical writing
Min 10 years’ experience with strong process knowledge of Transportation Management
Leadership experience in leading a mid-sized team (3-5 members)
Strong knowledge of business processes within the Supply Chain area
We need you to be an outstanding self-starter with a commitment to delivering high quality work in pressurized environments
A 4 year degree in Information Management, Computer Science or other business-related field is required
Experience using SAP Solution Manager toolset for managing changes, transports and incidents would be advantageous
APICS certification will be an advantage.
Your knowledge of SAP must include:
An understanding of the TM module and end to end business processes within the supply chain planning domain
Extensive experience in the process design, configuration and trouble-shooting of SAP modules across complex supply chain distribution networks
