Primary Responsibilities:
Commercial Support:
- Supporting the sales team by scheduling appointments, preparing sales presentations, and assisting with follow-ups.
- Oversee and support spot requests and proactive follow-up of offers made.
- Support Vertical Sales reps on Bid Platforms.
- Creating and maintaining statistics, reports, and presentations.
- Work closely with internal teams on matters like initiating credit checks and working alongside sales reps with the legal team on contracts alignment.
- Creating business cases together with the Sales Director and responsible stakeholder by supporting the Sales Director in the preparation and follow-up of customer visits.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Maintaining and updating customer databases.
- Handling customer inquiries and ensuring timely responses to customer needs.
- Escalating to internal stakeholders and coordinating with various departments to resolve issues.
Business Processing:
- Tracking shipments.
- Coordinating with local branches and cross-functional teams.
- Ensuring timely delivery of goods for key strategic customers.
Reporting and Analysis:
Generating and supporting sales reports to provide insights for better decision-making and strategy formulation.
Job Requirements
- A minimum of two years of experience in proposal writing and presentation development is an added advantage.
- Minimum of two years in logistics industry.
- Professional verbal and above-average written English skills, including proficient English grammatical and writing/editing/proofreading abilities.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work independently, remotely, and in flexible working hours (multiple time zones).
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Excellent interpersonal and people management skills, as well as ability to work well with various cultures.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio.
- Experience working with commercial/sales personnel.
