Purpose of Role:
Provide project co-ordination and support to the Sales team & Product Manager to enable timely and efficient sales/project delivery to Weir customers. This includes reporting, data entry, process, administration and auditing of data.
Objectives & Key Responsibilities:
Objectives:
- Acts as a primary resource for the effective preparation & development of estimating, quoting and tender preparation.
- Execution of orders is part of the role.
- Work closely with sales & project management team.
- Manage sales enquiries, part number, maintain stock levels & pricing.
- Supports customer base in parts management.
- Prepares and manages proposals for tender purposes.
- Interfaces with customers and company resources.
- Develops, maintains, and improves Comminution product documentation.
- Participates in Corrective Action Request, Evaluation processes and assist with the determination of root causes and resolution of issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communication Coordination: Serve as a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Assist in drafting and proofreading emails, memos, and other communications. Maintain professional and effective communication channels within the product management team.
- Data Management: Support the Product Manager in organizing and maintaining product-related documentation, including specifications, customer feedback, and market research. Ensure all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible for the team.
- Sales Order Management: Sales order variation process management, ensuring order progress is tracked and planning impact is incorporated and effectively communicated to in/external stakeholders.
- Project Support: Collaborate with the Product Manager in monitoring project timelines, tracking progress, and updating project management tools. Assist in coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring deliverables are met in a timely manner.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience: Proven work experience in a similar role, in particular the management, population and administration of a CRM database.
Language Skills: English-verbal & written. Ability to read and interpret documents such as Product Catalogs & datasheets, Project Documentation, Sales enquiries. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak and communicate effectively with employees of organization.
Mathematical: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Computer Skills: Proficient in using productivity tools such as Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Knowledge of SAP C4S is an advantage.
