Job Roles and Objectives

You'll be responsible for overseeing and driving sales efforts within a wholesale distribution environment. This involves developing and implementing sales strategies and building strong relationships with key accounts, vendors, and distributors. You will strive to expand the company’s market reach, identify new business opportunities, and ensure that sales targets are met or exceeded. Achieve profitable and sustainable market growth within assigned Business Accounts and Key Accounts, while aligning with our distributed brands' corporate image & commercial strategy regionally and globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate purchasing and sales with the administration, finance, and internal and external (transport) logistics departments.
  • Provide a monthly report to the respective Country Manager and Regional Brand Director on current affairs, situations, upcoming plans, and issues.
  • Provide the company with data about customer needs and/or the state of the market and its trends and be able to provide win-win solutions for both parties.
  • Ensure smooth, reliable, and efficient supply of products to customers, from sales meetings and sales materials to delivery of goods.
  • Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Analyze sales order data and collect sales data from customers.
  • Align actions with company targets and strategies.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Sales or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the fashion/lifestyle industry.
  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Proficiency in both Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Fluency in English, Malay & proficiency in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Willing to travel at least 20% of the time.
