Leading the sales team and drive them to achieve monthly and annual target
Coaching and guiding the sales team into professional sales personnel
Reviewing weekly sales activities, defining strategic sales pipeline and prospects by building on solid existing client relationships to win more new sales and clients in your territory to help the team achieve sales targets
Engaging in sales route rides with the team within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities is explored
Closing new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations
Driving sales revenue and analyzing their needs for upsell and cross-sell opportunities
Taking accountability by ensuring the team updates daily sales in the system
Being agile and flexible to perform on-site inspections as and when required
Working closely with other team members to assist in collection
Conducting sales meetings and supporting overall sales SOP to align with the Company's direction
Conducting visits at major customers' sites on a monthly basis to understand their needs, concerns, and suggest improvements based on feedback received
Maintaining extensive knowledge of the market and competitors, identifying and developing the company's selling propositions and differentiators.
Requirements The ideal candidate will possess:
A minimum of a Diploma in any related field with at least 5 years of relevant Sales Management/Supervisory experience
Strong leadership qualities, result-oriented, dynamic, self-driven, and motivated to work with and through people of various levels
Excellent in promoting teamwork and synergizing the team towards achieving sales targets
Driven by data, analytical, able to develop the team by managing their sales activities and coaching them accordingly
Excellent in building a network of strong customer relationships
Able to identify potential opportunities and provide cost-effective solutions to clients
Ability to work onsite, especially under the sun, and go on joint visits with Sales/Technical colleagues
Good understanding of business clients in your designated geographic areas/region
Able to work autonomously and thrive on challenges
Required valid driving license as driving is part of the job requirement for this designation
Possess own vehicle, and be a Malaysian or hold relevant resident status

Ability to think on your feet to coach the team with customer-focused solutions
Versatility to build rapport with people at all levels
Excellent and multi-lingual in both verbal and written English and Bahasa Malaysia; ability to converse in other local dialects will be an added advantage

Able to travel to various locations within the designated territory
