As we continue to expand our global footprint, we are seeking a Sales Manager for Southeast Asia to drive sales growth, establish strong client relationships, and develop market opportunities in the region.

Position Overview

The Sales Manager – Southeast Asia will play a critical role in expanding our market presence, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. This individual will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, maintaining key customer relationships, and executing sales strategies to achieve company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Strategy & Execution
   Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to penetrate and expand market share in Southeast Asia.
   Achieve and exceed revenue targets by driving business development efforts.
   Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including distributors, wholesalers, and direct-to-market sales.
2. Client Management & Business Development
   Establish, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
   Lead negotiations and contract development, ensuring favourable terms for the company.
   Provide tailored solutions to clients based on market demands and customer needs.
3. Market Insights & Competitive Analysis
   Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
   Provide detailed reports and strategic recommendations to the Chief of Sales regarding pricing strategies, customer feedback, and industry developments.
   Work closely with the marketing team to ensure brand positioning aligns with regional consumer preferences.
   Partner with internal teams, including marketing, logistics, and product development, to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
   Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
   Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.

Key Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
2. Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, ideally within the aquaculture, seafood, food production, or FMCG industry.
3. Proven track record in B2B sales, market expansion, and key account management.
4. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
5. Fluent in English; proficiency in Chinese and Malay languages is essential.
6. Ability to work independently, adapt to diverse cultural and business environments, and manage multiple priorities.
7. Willingness to travel extensively across Southeast Asia.
8. Experience in import/export regulations, supply chain logistics, and distributor management is a plus.

Base Salary (Retainer): MYR 12,000 – 16,000 per month (based on experience).

Commission-Based Bonus: % net sales revenue above the agreed quarterly target.

Annual Performance Bonus: Based on achieving key sales milestones and strategic goals aligned with business standards.
