Sales Manager - Oil & Gas

The role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager - Oil & Gas to join the dynamic team at Persol Technical Services Sdn Bhd in Bintulu, Sarawak. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans to drive growth and profitability within the oil and gas industry.

Key responsibilities

1. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve ambitious revenue targets
2. Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the oil and gas sector
3. Manage and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing coaching and training to enhance their performance
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders
5. Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform sales planning and decision-making
6. Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and other teams to ensure seamless customer experiences
7. Provide regular reporting and performance updates to leadership

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience, preferably within the oil and gas industry
2. Demonstrated success in leading and motivating a high-performing sales team
3. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
4. Proven ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies
5. Strong commercial acumen and understanding of the oil and gas market
6. Adaptability to changing market conditions and customer needs
7. Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g., business, marketing, or engineering)
