About Our Client

Our Client is a MNC company that specializes in the industrial manufacturing of piping systems. They are currently looking for a Sales Manager to join their team. As a prominent industry player, they present an engaging and challenging role with the potential to make a significant impact.

Job Description

  1. Strategic Business Development: Collaborate with the Sales Manager/Managing Director to formulate and execute sustainable business strategies, driving sales growth and ensuring profitability.
  2. Team Development: Develop, train, and coach the sales team in Malaysia and the region, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  3. Product Management: Maintain and expand the existing building industry and product portfolio, with a focus on building technology products.
  4. Market Expansion: Identify customer and market needs, establishing and nurturing a robust distributor network in Malaysia and the SEA region.
  5. Collaboration: Foster teamwork with local and regional Sales Managers and appointed distributors, ensuring a cohesive and collaborative approach to business.
  6. Sales Management: Oversee sales operations, supply chain activities, and inventory monitoring, ensuring optimal efficiency.
  7. Customer Satisfaction: Manage customer expectations, fulfill orders, and address customer requirements promptly and effectively.
  8. Technical Updates: Attend and provide technical updates, including product training, to team members, distributors, and customers.
  9. Regulatory Compliance: Work closely with authorities to obtain approvals and certifications for products.

The Successful Applicant

  1. Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or relevant professional qualification.
  2. Minimum 4 years of experience in product and technical sales and marketing.
  3. Previous experience in a multinational firm is essential.
  4. Strong product knowledge of piping is a definite advantage.
  5. Proficient in Account Management (Technical, Commercial, Execution, After sales Correspondence).
  6. Fluent in English; proficiency in Malay and Mandarin is an advantage.
  7. Positive attitude and a commitment to excellence.
