Job Role & Description: Sticky Rice Travel is a fast-growing, innovative, socially and environmentally conscious travel company. As a part of the team, the Sales Manager plays a fundamental role in developing, managing and leading the Sales team. The Sales Manager is primarily responsible for the strategization of growing a Sales team that is highly skilled and nimble in tailor made itinerary consultation.
Reporting to: This position reports directly to the General Manager. The Sales Manager works alongside Directors to drive the direction of the Sales department and Lead Manager on the management of the Sales team.
Purpose of the Role: The Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in management of client servicing with the primary goal of meeting and exceeding sales target while ensuring exceptional client satisfaction. You will be responsible for developing and managing a team of travel consultants and nurturing key client relationships. The role is a diverse one with involvement in people development, management and administration of the sales team including SOP, business strategy development and client management. The Sales Manager drives the overall direction of the sales department.
