Job description

As a Sales Manager at MEGROUP LTD, a leading automotive dealership, you will be responsible for leading and directing a dynamic team of sales professionals to drive revenue growth and achieve ambitious sales targets. This is a full-time position based in Selangor, where you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company’s success within the competitive automotive showroom and service center industry.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed vehicle sales goals, increase market share, and drive showroom traffic.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team, ensuring they have the knowledge and resources to effectively sell vehicles and upsell service offerings.
  • Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth in sales, optimize sales processes, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Foster strong relationships with existing clients and prospective customers ensuring repeat business, referrals, and long-term customer loyalty.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to your sales team, helping them improve their sales skills and performance to meet or exceed targets.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, service, and finance to ensure a seamless customer experience from showroom visits to vehicle delivery and ongoing service needs.
  • Represent the company at industry events, automotive expos, and community engagements, staying up-to-date with the latest trends, vehicle models, and service innovations in the automotive market.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales management role, preferably within the automotive dealership industry, with exposure to vehicle sales.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, especially in vehicle sales and aftersales services.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team to meet performance goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, dealership partners, and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and sales metrics to drive decision-making and improve overall performance.
  • Adaptability and agility, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive automotive environment.
  • Passion for automotive sales and a deep understanding of both vehicle sales and service operations in a dealership environment.
