We are hiring a new Sales Manager for our Chemicals business:

You have already gained some experience in the chemical raw materials business.
Your tasks are
Sell and market a range of chemical products/specialty chemicals in the designated region, segments, and industries.
Build and maintain strong business partner relationships through phone/video calls and in-person meetings that include traveling.
Identify and research new business opportunities – including new markets, new partnerships, new products – or new ways of reaching existing markets.
Analyse market information for data-driven decision-making – investigate current trends and customer buying intentions, and provide competitive pricing proposals while striving for maximum profit margin.
Participate and work with Business Development Manager in the budgeting and forecasting process for assigned products.
Monitor and provide timely feedback/reports to senior management on market development, competitor information, and activities.
Active presentation of SPCI-HELM, our products, prices, and our value proposition to our partners.
Your profile
You are best suited for this role if you have the following skills:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or Bachelor’s degree in any field plus at least three years of professional experience in relevant industries (preferred chemicals) or Engineering Degree in Chemical, Electronic, Mechanical, Science, or its equivalent.
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in sales and marketing, in dealing with chemicals commodity or chemicals distribution business.
Good chemical-related knowledge and understanding of the technical specification and ability to convey quality effectively.
Ability in managing and work closely with customers, productions, and customer services.
Mobile to travel within Malaysia and Singapore to work alongside customers to find out their needs.
