About the role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to join the team at CHONG YIN KIM TRADING SDN BHD. As a full-time Sales Manager based in Kuching, Sarawak, you will be responsible for leading and motivating our sales team to achieve ambitious revenue targets and exceed customer expectations.

What you'll be doing

1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth
2. Manage, coach and mentor a team of sales professionals to optimise their performance
3. Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and address challenges
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners
5. Collaborate cross-functionally to support the organisation's broader commercial objectives
6. Monitor and report on sales team performance against targets
7. Contribute to the development and execution of the company's overall sales and marketing plans

What we're looking for

1. Proven track record of success in a sales management role, ideally within a similar industry
2. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team
3. Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify strategic opportunities
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders
5. Thorough understanding of sales processes, including forecasting, pipeline management and customer relationship management
6. Highly organised and able to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
