Purpose of the Role:
The Sales Manager role is to ensure team sales targets are met, generate revenue for the organization, and establish strong professional relationships with key stakeholders, target physician groups, and key institutions. He/She leads a team to achieve common goals and objectives by motivating, coaching, and driving sales. He/She also develops, identifies, and assigns projects, activities, or initiatives to the respective team members to enhance their capabilities and growth.
Expectations of the Role:
- Lead the sales team to achieve sales targets while establishing strong professional relationships with key stakeholders, target physician groups, and key institutions.
- Ensure the development and effective implementation of customer-specific territory business plans and resource allocation to maximize business results.
- Anticipate, monitor, and analyze changes in the marketplace to effectively manage both tactical and strategic initiatives.
- Work cross-functionally and model collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Hire, train, coach, and develop talents by assigning leadership projects and activities.
- Motivate team members – involve the team in target setting, forecasting, and empower them.
- Champion for Sales ACE and GROW model.
- Conduct performance evaluations for each team member and develop coaching plans as appropriate.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and foster an environment that promotes ethical behavior and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Promote and ensure team members adhere to Zuellig Pharma’s core values when carrying out day-to-day responsibilities and interactions.
Attributes Required:
Must-Have:
- Minimum bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field.
- 4-6 years of sales and people management experience in the pharmaceutical or consumer healthcare industry.
- Candidate with Cardio-Renal-Metabolic experience is preferred.
