Role Description:

Primarily promote the hotel and where possible, hotels belonging to the chain in your area/region. This position is accountable for producing individual/group business on an established base of the top producing key accounts and for managing high potential key prospects.

Key Dimensions:

  • Analyzing hotel performance and developing strategies to increase / establish hotel sales goals.
  • Build relationships with guests / clients to increase repeat guest bookings and prospect new business through referrals, networking, and cold-calling.
  • Organizing regular sales visits to foster good working relationships with all clients.
  • Preparation of quotations and contracts to clients.
  • Visiting and contracting with clients.
  • Conducting site inspections and entertaining clients during their visit to the hotel.
  • Liaising with clients on accommodation and function matters.
  • Employees to be familiar with the operation and application of the hotel’s computer system.
  • Employees to be kept well informed about the daily operations of key departments such as the Front Office, Food and Beverage Department, Housekeeping, etc.
  • To promote special deals and new promotional rates to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma / Degree Preferably in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in sales or a related role within the hotel or hospitality industry.
  • Expertise in building and maintaining relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and event planners.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients and internal teams.
