Sales Executive

Primary Responsibilities:
- Acquiring and updating knowledge of employers' and competitors' products and understanding market conditions.
- Sell logistic services by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects.
- Make appointments and visit potential customers for new business.
- Providing prospective customers with general and specialized information, support, and guidance to maintain relationships with customers.
- Quoting and negotiating prices and credit terms, completing contracts, and recording orders.
- Reporting to sales management on sales made and the marketability of products.
- Reporting customers' reactions and requirements to management.
- Conduct research and recommend new opportunities and service improvements.
- Identify product improvements or new products by researching current industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
- Identify business opportunities by evaluating prospects' positions in the industry and conducting research & development.
- Responsible for payment collection from customers.
- Maintain and foster relationships with existing and new customers to ensure continuous success of accounts.
- Prepare reports for daily sales activities, monthly sales performance, and new clients list.
- Responsible for providing the best service to clients.
- Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned or required from time to time.
- Must have a freight forwarding background.
- Sales experience in logistics, freight forwarding, warehousing, and haulage service industry.
- Possess knowledge of the industry market.
- Good grasp of the terminology and concepts of the industry.
- Able to bring in new customers for the company.
Note: Salary range is open for discussion because this sales position is entitled to commission.
