Job description
Role Summary

This role drives CelcomDigi prepaid/postpaid sales in assigned areas, focusing on dealer management, competitive analysis, and achieving sales targets. They ensure brand visibility, expand the dealer network, and provide support, all while participating in on-ground activities.

Responsibilities

  • Area (States) Owner to all Telco Prepaid & Postpaid related businesses under category of Open Channel & Modern Trade.
  • Observe and report competitor activities/programs in respective Clusters and review its effectiveness/ threat/ opportunities towards CelcomDigi. To propose Quick Win actions to maintain competitive within Clusters.
  • Responsible for Cluster pyramid health following guidelines as directed by Sales & Distribution Team.
  • To achieve sales targets for reloads & quality activations leading to revenue increase.
  • Constantly ensure CelcomDigi’s presence is visible within Clusters.
  • Execute Visitation by performing 4 Sales Call Steps.
  • Base Expansion via Potential Dealer Touchpoint hunting and grooming.
  • Participate in all on-ground activities such as Events, Roadshows, Roving, etc.
  • Troubleshoot dealer and frontliner system/product related queries.
Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree in any field with a minimum 1 year of experience or SPM with 2 to 3 years experience.
  • Experience in sales especially working with Dealer/Distribution/Telco Operations, Public Relations & Communications.
  • Must possess own transport with valid licenses.
  • Strong negotiation, analytics & problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient spoken and written English & Malay (other languages are a plus).
  • Flexible, able to work during weekends or at odd hours.
  • Good communication skills, aggressive, dynamic and result-oriented.
  • Must be street wise and able to think on their feet.
  • Exposure to planning and execution of sales-related campaigns will be an advantage.
  • Outgoing and enjoy meeting people.
  • Passionate about dealing with customers.
  • A fast learner and a team player.
  • Positive thinking with high ambition.
  • Motivated to take on challenges, with a good working attitude.
