Responsibilities & Duties

The main goal of the Sales Development Representative is to effectively sell our services by generating a consistent flow of new leads & clients to Elite Virtual Assistants through various avenues of direct outreach via email, sales calls, LinkedIn, and other sources. Additionally, this role involves collaborating closely with the marketing team to create and implement strategic initiatives, leveraging marketing insights to enhance sales efforts. The representative will also find innovative ways to utilize AI and other tools to streamline the lead generation process, ensuring a seamless integration of sales and marketing strategies.

The Sales Development Representative takes a proactive approach to ensure there is always a consistent lead flow in the sales pipeline, nurturing and revisiting those leads as needed, and seeking out opportunities to sell our services.

As the Sales Development Representative, you will put your passion for sales & management into selling our services and converting leads into customers.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Establish sales objectives through forecasting that aligns with the sales cycle
  • Develop quarterly and annual sales quotas
  • Implement sales programs by developing action plans and reviewing sales performance throughout the sales cycle
  • Proactively source outbound leads to generate revenue throughout the year including previous clientele
  • Maintain sales volume by keeping current with changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors
  • Request assistance from other team members as needed to ensure quotas are consistently met
  • Project expected sales volume and profit for new and existing products
  • Provide key sales insights to the owner, sales team members & marketing to meet our company’s annual sales target

The Sales Development Representative reports to the owner of Elite Virtual Assistants, and works with Marketing, Relationship Managers, Talent Director, and Operations Manager.

Qualifications & Skills

You’ll need to have a working knowledge of the services we offer for each role outlined above, enjoy talking to and working with potential clients, speak and understand English fluently (C1 Level or higher), and possess critical thinking skills to assist in the sales process. Good communication and problem-solving skills are necessary to excel in this role, along with sales and customer service experience.

  • Prior sales experience with proven results
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (C1 level or higher)
  • Confident/outgoing personality, enjoys talking to people
  • Ability to create and implement sales strategies & plans
  • Ability to meet sales goals
  • Ability to monitor progress through critical analysis of sales channels
  • Ability to analyze sales data
  • Presentation and analytical skills
  • Management and leadership skills
  • Attention to detail - must be able to follow processes and correctly complete administrative tasks
  • Tech-savvy (understands technology and is continually looking for new ways to work more efficiently)
  • Ability to develop budgets and sales strategies
  • Competitive spirit

Salary & Benefits

This is currently a full-time, 1099 position with a base salary of $1,200-$1,500 USD per month plus commission, with opportunities for quarterly bonus incentives and room for growth. There are no health benefits associated with this position.
