Your role and responsibilities
As an SDR within Digital Sales you'll be IBMs first line of contact for inbound client sales activity. Your primary goal will be to qualify leads and convert them into new business opportunities. With a focus on speed to engage, you will leverage your consultative selling skills to accept incoming leads, and connect the dots between clients' needs and IBM's solutions. You'll collaborate with colleagues across the Sales team- advising and supporting on new business engagements throughout the critically important early phases of the sales cycle, and helping to lead prospects to our award winning cloud solutions.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Continuous Learning: Stay updated and continually improve your expertise to become a trusted expert for clients.
Lead Management: Review Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) generated from digital queries, and convert them into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs).
Support Deal Closure: Pass validated SQLs to IBM sellers and partners to assist in closing deals.
Social Selling: Engage in social selling activities to build thought leadership and influence potential clients.
Required technical and professional expertise
Lead Generation and Sales Development: Experience in leading generation and sales development in the tech industry or a similar complex field.
Target Achievement: Consistently meeting targets in fast-paced environments by fostering collaboration.
Digital Communication: Proficient in verbal and written communication across digital platforms.
Preferred technical and professional experience
Data & AI Expertise: Possessing knowledge of Data & AI to offer credible advisory to clients (training on IBM's Data & AI offerings will be provided).
