The Sales Coordinator implements all sales activities in his/her area of responsibility, under the general guidance and supervision of the Director of Sales and Senior Sales Managers, in coordination with the Director of Business Development.

What will I be doing?

As the Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  1. Complete the relevant Hilton University courses promptly and pass the tests.
  2. Maintain an efficient filing, tracing, and correspondence system for the division.
  3. Ensure that all incoming correspondence is replied to within 24 hours and properly put on trace or file.
  4. Handle the coordination of follow-up actions by Sales & Marketing team members or other departments related to Sales.
  5. Prepare and send out quotations or contracts to travel agents and tour operators or related personnel.
  6. Update and maintain an updated mailing list, handling and directing mail activities.
  7. Administer and coordinate any sales activities.
  8. Ensure that collaterals and promotional materials are on hand at all times.
  9. Responsible for internal communication such as departmental briefings, liaison with other departments, and team member relations.
  10. Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and attitude towards all hotel guests, clients, and team members.
  11. Perform related duties and handle special projects as assigned by the Director of Sales.
  12. Attend daily departmental briefings and discussions.
  13. Issue communications and information regarding sales.
  14. Enhance and promote effective response to customer needs.
  15. Enhance teamwork among colleagues for effective performance, demonstrating honesty, care, and non-discrimination in all relationships, establishing effective team member relations.
  16. Inform clients of current rates, tour operators on outlet promotions, as well as any changes in rates by letters, fax, and telephone calls.
  17. Maintain a high level of exposure for the hotel in major market areas through telephone calls, fax, contacts, and written communication to represent the hotel.
  18. Assist the Sales Manager and Sales Executive in conducting hotel inspections for all walk-ins, meeting groups, and contracted clients.
  19. Inform customers promptly about all changes in hotel information.
  20. Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  1. University graduate.
  2. Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar capacity with international chain hotels.
  3. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese to meet business needs.
  4. Good communication and presentation skills.
  5. Able to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods.
  6. Have hotel working experience and be a good team player.
  7. Very familiar with local market and good at marketing trend analysis.
