Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Meet and exceed agreed set of KPIs, including sales, revenue & profit targets.
  2. Maintain current client relationships and identify areas for potential clients.
  3. Build market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships.
  4. Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.
  5. Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners.
  6. Discover and explore business opportunities.
  7. Collaborate with sales and design team to ensure requirements are met, such as sales numbers and profit goals.
  8. Develop negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new ventures with company strategies and operations.
  9. Examine risks and potentials for business opportunities.
  10. Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations.
  11. Participate in collaborative business meetings to update key stakeholders.
  12. Provide continuous, constructive feedback to salespeople.
  13. Develop entry-level staff into valuable salespeople.

Requirements:

  1. Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven.
  2. Experience in B2B sales, preferably in multinational corporations (MNC), with the ability to pitch to key stakeholders.
  3. Over 6 years of Sales and Business Development experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  4. Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Management or a related field.
  5. Knowledge & experience in the Engineering field is a plus.
  6. Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and able to communicate in Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  7. Compulsory to have own transport.
  8. Willingness to travel regionally.
