Sales Assistant (Crystal Shop)

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic team at PPS CAPITAL GROUP SDN. BHD. as a full-time Sales Assistant at their Crystal Shop in Kuching, Sarawak. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with sales, and maintaining the pristine appearance of the retail space.

What you'll be doing

• Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Assist customers in selecting and purchasing products, providing expert knowledge and advice
• Process sales transactions and handle cash and card payments
• Maintain the retail space, including restocking shelves, merchandising displays, and keeping the store clean and organised
• Contribute to the achievement of sales targets and help drive the overall success of the Crystal Shop
• Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve your product knowledge and customer service skills

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably in the crystal, gemstone, or luxury goods industry
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers and provide a high level of service
• Excellent product knowledge and a genuine passion for the crystal and gemstone industry
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for visual merchandising
• Ability to work well in a team and contribute to the overall success of the business
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
