Sales Assistant

We are looking for a 'PART TIME' employee from now until the end of March 2025. Can start immediately.

Job Type: Part-time contract

Schedule:

• Morning shift
• Evening shift

Supplemental Pay:

• Overtime pay
• Commission pay

Requirements:

• SPM and above
• Age: 18 and above
• Working hours: 10.00 am to 10.00 pm (shift rotation)
• Able to work in retail hours (Shift, weekends, and public holidays)
• Candidate must be willing to work at Butik Bulan Bintang Melaka.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and maintain stock replenishment to ensure a fully stocked store
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• Able to ascertain customers’ wants and needs
• Keep up to date with product information
• Accurately describe product features and benefits
• Actively involved in the receiving of new shipments
• Follow all company policies and procedures

As a Promoter, you will be responsible for showcasing and promoting our latest Malay traditional attire collection to customers, ensuring they have an exceptional shopping experience.

• Actively engage with customers, providing friendly and knowledgeable assistance to help them find the perfect Malay traditional outfit
• Demonstrate and promote the features and benefits of our Malay traditional clothing range
• Ensure the store is well-presented and merchandise is displayed attractively to drive sales
• Provide excellent customer service and handle inquiries, returns, and exchanges efficiently
• Collaborate with the team to achieve store targets and contribute to the overall success of the business

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably in the fashion industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers of all backgrounds
• Excellent product knowledge and a keen eye for fashion trends
• Enthusiastic, friendly, and customer-focused attitude
• Ability to work flexible part-time hours, including weekends and public holidays
