Sales & Application Engineer (Indoor)

About the role

Are you an experienced Sales & Application Engineer looking to join a leading provider of industrial pump solutions? Intech Pumps (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented Sales & Application Engineer (Indoor) to join our dynamic team in Puchong, Selangor. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in driving our sales and providing tailored pump application solutions to our valued customers.

What you'll be doing

• Actively engage with customers to understand their pump requirements and provide technical expertise on the most suitable product solutions
• Prepare and present detailed pump application proposals, product specifications and quotations to clients
• Collaborate with the Outdoor Sales Engineer to develop custom pump designs and configurations to meet specific customer needs
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and stay informed of industry trends
• Contribute to the development of sales tools, training materials and other resources to support the broader sales team

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience as a Sales & Application Engineer or similar technical sales role in the pump or industrial equipment industry
• Strong understanding of pump and fluid handling technologies, including centrifugal, positive displacement and specialty pumps
• Excellent technical aptitude and ability to provide in-depth product knowledge and application guidance to customers
• Proven sales skills with the ability to identify customer needs
• Effective communication and presentation skills to liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Hands-on experience with hydraulic calculations, pump selection and system design
• Relevant technical qualifications in engineering or a related field
