A well-established MNC company that is a strong player in its industry and has a presence globally. They are looking to bring on board an excellent area sales consultant to support their team in Georgetown.
Job Description:
Be the face of the company and be responsible for driving and developing new business in Penang. Have a pulse on the market landscape and identify potential opportunities with potential customers and projects.
Build relationships with potential and existing customers through regular touch bases. Prepare equipment proposals and layouts, close sales, and arrange for billing and collection of deposits.
As required, assist the Sales, Admin, and Technical team in projects not directly related to sales, e.g., promotion and advertising, delivery, services, or other business-related work.
Manage key accounts and be responsible for all equipment sold to clients, which includes commissioning and training on the usage of the equipment as necessary.
Ensure clients receive a great sales experience by being responsible for the overall sales journey, from sales to delivery and after-sales.
Work with the team to evaluate current programs and establish new ones with respect to profitability and meeting company goals.
Assist the Country Manager when necessary for all functions and promotions, company events, and special programs held by the company.
Attend weekly staff/management meetings.
Proactively contribute ideas to the company with the objective of improving revenues and reducing expenses while maintaining great service to all customers.
Organize, produce, and contribute towards the company’s promotional and marketing activities.
Keep abreast of industry trends through reading, communication with other clubs, and attending industry seminars and meetings.
Attend all courses, training, and complete all training requirements online and on your own effort basis.
Mandatory to complete E-learning courses.
Requirements:
7 to 10 years’ experience in a similar role
University graduates preferred
Knowledge and experience in residential property development preferred
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive mindset and willingness to learn
Strong communication skills – articulate, clear, able to communicate effectively with various stakeholders: HQ, clients, and internal stakeholders
